DRS Technologies-Elizabeth City provides long term aircraft engineering, maintenance, and management support that encompass a wide range of activities both on and off site. DRS designed, developed, tested, implemented, and maintained the Aircraft Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS) used throughout the Coast Guard’s fleet of fixed and rotary wing aircraft. DRS operates out of two 110,000 square-foot hangars (80,000 square-foot footprint) that it recently sold to the Coast Guard.
